Perform with Us!
We offer several performance opportunities throughout the year. Some of our events are limited to our Company Members, and some are open to all who are interested in joining us! We recommend taking a class with us before joining us for a rehearsal process.
Auditions
In August we hold open auditions for our Fall Showcase. These non-competitive, workshop-style auditions are led like classes. They are designed to help choreographers get to know everyone so that we can cast folks in numbers that will be an appropriate level and an appealing style for each dancer.
Rehearsals
Small performances are meant to be light and fun, with two rehearsals and a dress rehearsal in the week before the performance. Our annual September Showcase rehearses a few times a week for about a month before the performances. Typical rehearsals are held for 2-3 hour blocks in the evenings at Studio 145. Dress rehearsals may be scheduled for longer blocks of time and are held in the performance space.
Each show is different, and we work hard to give everyone a clear idea of the time commitment and rehearsal schedule before the process begins.
