Take a Dance Class
Telluride Dance Collective offers different class series throughout the year when we are not in a rehearsal process. Our classes are for students 18+. All adult students are welcome to attend! Younger dancers are encouraged to explore class options with Palm Dance. Each season we offer class series that are in "sessions" of 3-4 week periods meeting once a week.
2024 Spring class series: Integrative Dance
Wednesdays | 6-7:30pm | 4/24, 5/1, 5/8 & 5/15
Join us for our dance spring class series of INTEGRATIVE DANCE. This class series will be a blend of different dance forms and somatic practices. Classes will begin with breath work, embodiment and release exercises. Participants will be guided through stretch and strength conditioning along with group exercises for spatial awareness, expanding movement vocabulary and exploring free form expression. Open level class.
2024 Summer Session 1: Jazz Funk
Wednesdays | 6-7:30pm | 5/29, 6/5, & 6/12
Join us for our first class series of the summer - JAZZ FUNK. This class series will be an upbeat and energizing blend of jazz that has been influenced by ballet, hip hop and contemporary dance forms. Participants will be guided through stretch and strength conditioning and build on technique. This class is an open level class and will involve learning phrases across the floor and different combinations of choreography.
2024 Summer Session 2: choreo Workshop
Wednesdays | 6-7:30pm | 8/7, 8/14, 8/21, & 8/28
Join us for our second summer class series - CHOREO WORKSHOP. This class series will be a workshop style class that is great for preparing dancers who are interested in participating in our upcoming Mass Movement 2024 performance (Oct. 3&4). This class is an open level class and will be a blend of different dance styles that involves learning phrases across the floor and different combinations of choreography.

All classes are held in Studio 145 at the Palm Theatre. Enter the Palm Theatre and walk to the far east end of the lobby to find Studio 145 on the right.
